We designed the evolution of companies and society.

Data is everywhere.

From hardware registries to healthcare archives, from social media to sensors, from spreadsheets to large databases up to the page that you are reading right now: our world is more quantified and quantifiable than ever before. It has become so economical to collect and preserve data that to ask oneself whether memorizing the information is worthwhile is now a secondary and probably moot point. Often companies only use a tiny part of this data: a mountain of knowledge is wasted every day when it could be transformed into a huge opportunity to create value.
Managing Big Data or Small Data is Hopenly’s core business. Data analysis helps companies to acquire and manage huge quantities of information to help them better understand customers, products, competition and markets.

Useful things can be done with data.

With all this data, something wonderful is happening: it is now possible to creatively apply scientific principles to design instruments and processes in sectors in which scientific approaches were not possible, whether due to difficulties or the expenses connected to the collection of data. Data and quantitative methods have the power to improve our companies, governments and society at large.
Our project aims to help our customers to optimize this precious wealth of knowledge to create a competitive advantage, transforming data into information that can make a difference.

Intervening is difficult.

There are two pitfalls in every data based project: the gap between having a problem and knowing how to handle it using data and the gap between knowing what one wants to do and how to do it in the most appropriate way. Usually, it is difficult to fill both the gaps.

Hopenly was established in 2014 to help you.

Made to measure solutions.

We formulate a customized approach based on your specific problem, requirements and culture.

A team with different ideas and backgrounds.

A team that works in Data Science must be able to come up with different solutions and decide which one is the best at the moment. This is why creating a heterogeneous team is now more than ever a pragmatic decision for us; research has shown that diversified teams systematically perform better then uniform teams in terms of creativity and decision-making. Having a team with different backgrounds allows us to understand a vaster range of customer problems and propose better solutions.

Quick, agile and reiterative.

We know that often, at the beginning of a project, we are not aware how exactly to solve a problem; furthermore, we know that the problem can change during the resolution process itself. If you are not willing to sometimes acknowledge your own ignorance, reflect on a problem and adapt to building something new it is hard to establish what should be resolved or, even worse, time and resources are wasted. Hopenly therefore adopts a project development method that is Agile, reiterative and gradual.

Concise and user-focused.

The results of each analysis can be complex and multifaceted, but to understand them it should not be necessary to have skills in the specific area. We believe that data scientists are always responsible for communicating the results and designing instruments in a way that is clear and meaningful to others.

Open source technology.

Open source is a way of working that aims to create the best possible software. It provides everyone the freedom to visualize the code, learn, ask questions and a basis on which to build. New innovative and revolutionary ideas can come from connecting and mixing ideas that have arrived before them. Before each project, Hopenly defines the best technologies for the specific problem at hand, in a simple and speedy manner.
